To our dearest beloved brothers and friends we enjoyed the time that we comuned together. We absorbed the many conversations which we shared. We will always treasure the friendship and knowledge you so graciously shared through the good times and the bad times.
PRIEST OSWAN CHAMANI
Priest Oswan was a teacher who stressed the Dignity, Honor, and Respect
of the Loa, all Spirits, and all People. We will all Pass... To Live Well is to Die Well. To Fear Death is
to Fear Life. THE PASSING OF THE HOUNGAN
OSWAN CHAMANI INTO THE LAND OF THE INVISIBLES "Behind living and dreaming lies the most important thing, waking up." ...Priest Oswan Chamani Priest Oswan Chamani was born in Belize Central America where he studied Voodoo (called Obeah in Central America) under three different teachers of which two were African Diviners. He was equally advanced in his spiritual and metaphysical gifts. Under the direction of his spiritual teachers he became well versed in the use of herbs which enabled him to write the book entitled "Belizean Herbs: There Uses and Applications". This book is only available through the Voodoo Spiritual Temple. In 1990, Priest Oswan Chamani married Priestess Miriam Williams where they both founded the Voodoo Spiritual Temple in New Orleans. On March 6,1995, Priest Oswan Chamani transcended into the arms of the ancestors where he is now resting at the feet of the Master, so that he will be nourished for his next incarnation. For the six years that both Priest Oswan and Priestess Miriam were together, they helped people everywhere through the Voodoo Spiritual Temple.
